Objective: Using the presentation resources provided to you….Research and Compare Two Ecosystems
Part 1: (with a partner)
1. Select Two ecosystems to research the following information for each one:
a. Describe the climate (average temperature for summer and winter and average rainfall)
b. 3 examples of abiotic factors
c. 3 examples of biotic factors
d. 5 Limiting factors that may affect the carrying capacity of the ecosystem
e. Tolerances or adaptations of at least 3 organisms in each ecosystem that allow them to
survive in the ecosystem
f. 3 symbiotic relationships in each ecosystem (mutualism,commensalism, or parasitism)
g. Create a food web with at least 8 organisms in your ecosystem
h. Create a scenario for a disturbance that could or has occurred in your ecosystem. Then
describe how it would impact the ecosystems stability.
