UK Models Management Model’s Terms & Conditions
Dear Models,
UK Models Management is a growing Modeling agency with its well-known presence. We follow
international standards in Modeling industry and never compromise in our quality of services.
This terms and conditions have come into existence based on few bad past experiences with our
Models / clients. This agreement has been carefully drafted to ensure 100% commitment from the
Model signing up with UK Models Management. This is essential in order to maintain our quality
of service.
Terms & Conditions
The Freelancer Model will remain with the UK Models Management for a minimum duration
period of project-based time. The Model will remain under contract with the UK Models
Management beyond this period if undertaking an ongoing Assignment(s) until the completion of
that Assignment(s) or any further associated Assignment(s) in full. The Model agrees to complete
any Assignment(s) with the UK Models Management that has been started in any form,
verbally/written/email etc, and may not continue the Assignment(s) with a different agent/UK
Models Management or by self/parent/guardian, or any other form, of representation.
The UK Models Management has the right to represent the Model and publish Model details,
including Images, Videos in any promotional/advertising capacity without reference to the
Model. The Model agrees that any document, in any media, created, produced or published by the
UK Models Management may not be used by any other individual or company without prior
written consent of the UK Models Management.
The Model agrees that the UK Models Management has the right to terminate this agreement and
its representation of the Model with immediate effect should the Model, or any person
accompanying the Model, fail to behave in a professional and courteous manner at all times on
Assignment(s) or should a Model fail to attend a pre-arranged Assignment(s) without notifying
the UK Models Management. The Model agrees that the UK Models Management has the right
to terminate this agreement and its representation of the Model with immediate effect should a
Model, or any person representing the Model, fail to behave in a professional and courteous
manner towards, and during any communication with, the UK Models Management and UK
Models Management staff. In the event of the Model failing to attend a pre-arranged
Assignment(s) without notifying the UK Models Management the Model agrees that the Model
may be liable for the costs of that Assignment(s). The Model has the right to terminate this
agreement by giving 4 weeks written notice and agrees that the notice period will commence from
the date that notification is received by the UK Models Management. However, the Model cannot
terminate this agreement, and will remain under contract with the UK Models Management, if
undertaking an ongoing Assignment(s) until the completion of that Assignment(s) or any
associated Assignment(s) in full and the Model agrees to complete any Assignment(s) with the
UK Models Management that has been started in any form, verbally/written/email etc, and may
not continue this Assignment(s) with a different agent/UK Models Management or by
self/parent/guardian or any other form of representation.
Model agrees that the UK Models Management acts as an employment UK Models Management
and grants the UK Models Management sole authority to negotiate and collect, on behalf of the
Model, all gross income arising from any Assignment(s) negotiated by the UK Models
Management throughout the term and in perpetuity. The Model agrees that the UK Models
Management fees 25% amount of Model gross income will be deducted by the UK Models
Management. VAT per cheque issued is applicable. The Model recognizes and agrees that the
Client is the employer therefore payment for an Assignment(s) can only be made to the
Model. The Model understands that the UK Models Management will raise a UK Models
Management fees invoice if the Model is paid any fee directly by the UK Models Management’s
client and that representation may be suspended until the commission invoice is paid in full by the
Model.
The Model agrees that it is the responsibility of the Model to complete and return any forms,
measurement sheets and licensing documentation forwarded by the UK Models Management. If
the Model is not licensed as a result of the UK Models Management not having been provided
with the correct information or documents the UK Models Management cannot promote or forward
the model for Assignment(s) in any form. The Model agrees that it is the responsibility of the
Model to notify UK Models Management of any changes to their personal details to include (but
not be limited to) change of postal address, change of email address, telephone numbers,
measurement details etc. The Model agrees to notify the UK Models Management of any
significant changes to their appearance including (but not be limited to) change of hair style/colour,
weight loss/gain, addition of a tattoo or piercing and understands that failure to inform the UK
Models Management of such changes may result in them being sent home from an Assignment
without any payment due. The Model agrees to update the images provided to the UK Models
Management should the UK Models Management deem a significant change in their appearance
has taken place. The Model agrees and accepts that if updated images have been requested but not
provided the UK Models Management cannot promote or forward the Model for Assignment(s).
The Model acknowledges that they take on any Assignment (s) sourced by the UK Models
Management on a self-employed basis and that they are solely responsible for declaration and
payment of any Tax and National Insurance, if applicable, that may be due and this is not the
responsibility of the UK Models Management.
The Model agrees that job details will initially be given orally at the point of booking and
subsequently confirmed in writing in paper or electronic form. The Model agrees it is not the
responsibility of the UK Models Management to ensure the safety of the Model whilst undertaking
any Assignment(s). The Model agrees to comply with all rules and regulations, including those
pertaining to Health & Safety, that are in place at the UK Models Management and at any premises
or location where any Assignment(s) is undertaken. The Model agrees that the UK Models
Management cannot be held responsible or liable for any injury or accident that may occur to the
Model when travelling to or from or during any Assignment(s) they undertake on behalf of the UK
Models Management. The Model agrees that they are responsible for their travel additional
expenses and arrangements while travelling to the location of the Assignment and that the Model
must meet any expenses incurred when undertaking an Assignment.
The Model agrees that they are legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom, United States
when undertaking an Assignment and understand the UK Models Management will not promote a
Model who has not provided the UK Models Management with relevant documentation. The
Model agrees that the UK Models Management may, in capacity of data controller (The Data
Protection Act 1998) share the Model’s personal data with third parties, handle, hold and process
data about the Model in order to process primary and residual payments as necessary and, in
compliance with statutory requirements, report information to Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs
(HMRC) and relevant employment legislation authorities.
The Model agrees that they shall not without prior written consent from the UK Models
Management make public any information in connection with the business of the UK Models
Management or these Terms & Conditions. The Model agrees that any details regarding
Assignment(s) work, paid or un-paid, undertaken by the Model will not be divulged to the
press/radio or any media nor posted on any social networking site or public forum without written
consent by the UK Models Management. The Model agrees that if they are deemed by the UK
Models Management to have divulged any details regarding Assignment(s) work, paid or un-paid
to the press/radio or any media the UK Models Management has the right to terminate this
Agreement. The Model agrees that if they are deemed by the UK Models Management to have
posted derogatory and/or slanderous remarks on social networking sites and/or public forums the
UK Models Management has the right to terminate this Agreement.
Model agrees to be on time at the shoot or event venue. Suppose, if the shoot / event starts at 10:00
am, then the Model agrees to be present at the venue at least 30 minutes before on the first day of
the shoot / event. From 2nd day onwards, Model agrees to reach 15 minutes before the schedule.
Model agrees to inform us immediately or before the shoot schedule if he / she is late because of
traffic or any problem due to which they are not able to reach on time at the venue. Model agrees
not to give excuses such as but not limited to the following, ‘no balance’, ‘no signal’ or ‘no charge’.
If this is the case, then Model agrees to call from nearby public telephone.
Model agrees to attend all the phone calls after the confirmation and selection of the Model for
the shoot / event. Model agrees not to give any excuses such as but not limited to, ‘my phone was
in my bag’, ‘my mobile was in silent mode’, ‘my phone was not with me’, ‘my phone was on
charging mode’, ‘I was sleeping’. Usually, UK Models Management representative makes three
reminder calls to the Model,
Model agrees to inform the UK Models Management about any prior commitment on the day of
the shoot. Also, Model agrees to ensure that prior commitment will not affect the shoot / event.
Model agrees to inform us well in advance or at least a day notice if they are not able to attend the
scheduled shoot after confirmation. In the absence of informing us, Model agrees to pay the losses
incurred.
Model agrees not to involve in any illegal activities defined by law. If found, UK Models
Management has rights to inform concerned authorities to take legal actions against them.
Model agrees not to accept any offers provided by the client such as going outside or somewhere
else. If Model accepts and anything goes wrong, UK Models Management shall not be held
responsible.
Model agrees not to give their home address or phone number but use only UK Models
Management’s address and phone number except for the personal purposes that not related to this
Agreement.
Model agrees to keep all the information about the clients including the client’s name and
remuneration details confidential.
Model agrees to keep UK Models Management informed by phone when the job is finished.
Failing which the payment will be kept on hold or not paid.
Model agrees not to lie with the UK Models Management / Client in any situation. Phone calls
with UK Models Management might be recorded to avoid any kind of confusion.
Model agrees to treat the items that he/she is Modelling with the utmost respect. Model will be
responsible for such outfit from the time he/she check out the items to the time He / She check
them back in. If the Model notice anything wrong with the clothing at any time (stain, rip, loose
button, etc.), He / She will alert one of the helpers immediately.
Model agrees to behave polite and well-mannered. If clients or any other person misbehaves,
Model agrees to inform UK Models Management
UK Models Management does not force Model to work for us or for any of our clients but once
work is started Model agrees to complete the work and not leave in the mid-way. Failing which
the payment will be kept on hold or not paid. Also, Model agrees to compensate for any losses
incurred.
Model agrees not to accept any gifts or tip from the client. If the client insists, he / she agrees to
inform UK Models Management After getting clearance from UK Models Management, he /
she can accept gifts.
Model agrees not be spend too much time on phone during the shoot / event. Model agrees to
attend most important calls and calls from UK Models Management.
Model agrees not be bring friends or family members for the shoot.
Model agrees not to discuss any issues related to shoot / event with the client. He / She must speak
to the UK Models Management contact directly. Especially, payment related issues must not be
discussed with the client. Model agrees that he / she is aware that he / she is being hired by the
UK Models Management, therefore, discuss any issues with UK Models Management. Failing
which the payment will be kept on hold or will be paid after one year without any interest.
Model agrees not to deal with the client directly once he / she have worked or attended briefing or
given telephonic interview for any client through UK Models Management. Also, Model agrees
not to work for the same client directly or through any other company / UK Models Management
/ coordinator for the next one year. If the client approaches directly, Model agrees to inform UK
Models Management
The term of this agreement shall be made for a period of one year, commencing this date. Model
may terminate this agreement with thirty (30) days written notice, delivered by registered mail to
the address listed on the face of this document. If termination notice is received after a booking or
placement has been arranged, Model agrees to honor that booking / placement or else reimburse
UK Models Management for any and all costs incurred or revenue forfeited (including such
revenue which may be owing to a client due to incurred expenses as a result of Model‘s
cancellation).
In case any differences or disputes shall arise between the parties hereto in relation to these presents
or the rights or obligations of the parties the same shall be referred to an ARBITRATOR for
decision and award which shall be binding and conclusive upon the parties. The provisions of the
Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and any modification thereof shall be applicable. All such
Disputes shall be within the Jurisdiction Madras High Court.
The Model agrees that these Terms and Conditions must not be copied or reproduced.
