Mechanics for the NUTRIQUIZ 2019
1. The contest is open for Grades I-III and IV-VI. There must be 1 contestant per section (6 contestants for Primary
and 6 contestants for Intermediate).
2. Each participant must answer the questions related to the celebration of Nutrition Month.
3. The following materials will be used in the said contest: pencil with eraser for Primary and ballpen for
Intermediate.
4. For grades I-III, there will be thirty (30) questions to answer. While in grades IV-VI, there will be forty (40)
questions. All are multiple choice with 4 options. They’ll be going to encircle the possible answer.
5. There will be 3 winners per category (3rd place up to the 1st place). The said winners will receive certificates.
6. They will be given one (1) hour to answer.
Mechanics for the Poster-making Contest
1. The contest is open for Grades I-III and IV-VI. There must be 1 contestant per section (6 contestants for Primary
and 6 contestants for Intermediate).
2. Each participant must submit one (1) entry only.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme of the Nutrition Month 2019-2020:
“Kumain ng Wasto at maging Aktibo… Push Natin ‘to!”
4. The following materials will be used in the contest:
a. A ¼ illustration board (white background), marker (black) and a Mongol pencil (to be provided by the
contestant).
b. Coloring materials: oil pastel/crayons
5. They will be given 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish their entry.
6. The posters will be judged according to the following criteria: creativity (40%), originality (30%),
relevance to the theme (20%) and neatness (10%).
7. There will be 3 winners per category (3rd place up to the 1st place). The said winners will receive certificates.
Mechanics for the Slogan-Writing Contest
1. The contest is open for Grades IV-VI. There must be 1 contestant per section (6 contestants for Intermediate).
2. Each participant must submit one (1) entry only.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme of the Nutrition Month 2019-2020:
“Kumain ng Wasto at maging Aktibo… Push Natin ‘to!”
4. The following materials will be used in the contest:
a. One (1) cartolina (white), marker, and a Mongol pencil (to be provided by the contestant).
b. Coloring materials: oil pastel/crayons (to be provided by the contestant)

Mechanics for A1 Child
1. The contest is open for Kinder to Grades I-III. There must be 1 contestant for male category and 1 contestant for
female category per section. A total of 8 contestants for male category and 8 contestants for female category.
2. The contestants must possess a healthy mind and body, has a clean teeth and has an appealing appearance.
3. The contestants will answer simple questions during the contest.
4. They will be judged according to the following criteria: Cleanliness and neatness (30%), Physical
appearance (30%), Mental ability (20%), Dental (10%) and Poise (10%).
5. There will be 3 winners (3rd place up to the 1st place). The said winners will receive certificates.
