Lion
 Lions
are big cats
 An adult male lion may weigh around 225kg,
and measure more than 3 metres from nose to
tail.
 Lions are found in the wild in southern and
eastern Africa.
Tiger
 The
tiger is the biggest member of the cat
family.
 Where Found: Southeast Asia, eastern Russia
 Length: males: 390 cm ; females: 275 cm;
 Weight: males: 306 kg ;females: 167 kg;
Monkey
 The
common chimpanzee lives in West and
Central Africa.
 Chimpanzees show their emotions with their faces
and sounds.
 Can walk on two feet, but they prefer to move
about on all four legs. They have hands that look
like human hands, but their thumbs are shorter
than those of humans.
Crocodile

crocodile is a large amphibious reptile.
 Crocodiles live in rivers, lakes and dams in parts of
America, Asia, Africa and Australia

are the largest living land mammals.
 At birth, an elephant calf may weigh 100 kg

 An adult male hippopotamus weighs between
