Vote buying Oppression of the press freedom Oplan Tokhang Discrimination inside the classroom Cutting in line B. Why do you think these are undemocratic? Why do you think these are happening? Basically, all of these are violating the rights of the people involved in the said practices. It limits the rights that everyone must possess. Observing these kinds of practices take away the freedom of the mass. Vote buying happens because one candidate wants the power all for himself, the alleged person who had his vote bought loses his chance of own judgement of who is the rightful person for the certain position. The press is being oppressed because it reveals some truth that higher authorities wouldn’t like the people to know. In order to stop the drug addiction, taking one’s life is their solution. Discrimination has never left the scene when one is different or doesn’t fit in the description of being normal for other people then you don’t belong. Cutting in line makes the person doing it feel superior than the other people queuing. COMPOSITION A. Write an action plan to address these undemocratic practices using ICT and networks. Living in a generation where technology is considered as part of the daily lives of people, it will be a huge help in addressing such issues. The internet is widely used and can be a great place to advocate something easily. To address the above mentioned undemocratic practices, I plan to create infographics where people can easily understand the content of what I am addressing. Included in these infographics are illustrations, graphs, statistics, and information pertaining to the undemocratic practices. Both positive and negative information about the practices will be included to avoid being biased. Before creating the said plan, I will do an in-depth study or research about the practices to have a fuller grasp of what I am addressing to. After creating the infographics, I would post it in a social media platform where it can be easily accessed, be seen, be easily shared, and passed by other people.
