Humans are a lot more inquisitive, we want to learn more about the past. We are not
concerned with what you had for breakfast. History is more than that, history is the
discovery to learn new things and to find answers. We want answers to the bigger
questions.

Theory
Continental drift is the movement of the Earth's continents relative to each other, thus
appearing to "drift" across the ocean bed. The speculation that continents might have 'drifted'
was first put forward by Abraham Ortelius in 1596.
Iceland’s position on the boundary between the
Eurasian and North American tectonic plates means
it’s ‘slowly being split apart.' An image of the historic
site Thingvellir is shown, which sits in the rift valley
caused by the diverging plates, creating fissures.
