Tulsi (Basil): Collagen is responsible for maintaining the elasticity of the skin. But too
much UV exposure causes depletion of collagen which results in skin damage. Whereas,
applying basil on the skin reduces the damage. It preserves the moisture in the skin,
reduces scales and wrinkles and makes the skin smooth, etc.
How to use: Prepare a paste of a few tulsi leaves, add gram flour and honey. Blend the
ingredients well, apply to the face and let it dry. Wash it off with lukewarm water.
Dalchini (Cinnamon): One of the best solutions to enhance the elasticity of the skin is
to boost collagen synthesis. Apart from the healing benefits, cinnamon has anti-aging
properties that boosts collagen and balances the elasticity of the skin and helps retain
youth.
How to use: In a bowl, mix cinnamon powder and raw honey. Apply this paste to the face
and leave it for at least 10 minutes and then, rinse it with lukewarm water. This mask
will help in tightening the skin and eventually boosts collagen.

of resin from Mukul myrrh tree. The anti-inflammatory property of guggul protects the
skin from wrinkles, acne and even skin diseases. Besides, it prohibits the effect of
harmful free radicals.
How to use: Grind the guggul to powder form and blend it with coconut oil or shea
butter. Apply the mixture to the face. You can either massage the face with this mixture
or let it stay overnight. Rinse it off with normal water the next day. It will not only
prevent wrinkles but also reduce uneven skin colour.
