This is through the set organizational structure depicting the change which is vital in meeting organizational goals and strategies of operations. There is therefore, need to understand organizational structure in the context of revealing cross-functional operations to coordinate various work efforts and optimal results. In this scope then the paper will analyze the various changes that have been undertaken the Apple Company and how Apple leadership has been essential in facilitating the change through the company operational model. Macintosh change The change was facilitated in 1984 this is where most of the company customers did not understand how to use a computer or what was the purpose of the computer. This is where the change that was facilitated focused on one click of the mouse which could do unthinkable. It is clear that the founder of the company that is Steve Jobs indicated that the company was in the initial stage of what was meant to be true to be the breakthrough for most people.Apple.com (1984). The company in this regards then, stood its operations in that there was the incredible collaboration between the members of the company where the company involved no committees in facilitating the changes and the capabilities of Apples employees to share their opinions and ideas that were based on the progress and success of the company. Facilitating the change The apple management communicated the change through designing a collaborative structure and infusing it in the organizational governance which was meant to bring various employees existing in Apple operations to achieve a common goal George, R. (2012).The infusing of the collaborative environment in Apple operations was focused and has always been used to support people in their individual and cooperative work. This is through creating a professional work environment which is critical in facilitating working together to achieve goals independent of their location thus such practices enabling an efficient and effective collaboration among various talents. In today’s operations of the company, it is clear that collaboration has been associated with the scope of creating more ideas and innovation through this attained new structure which has been a platform for innovation and new ideas for the Apple employees. 4 Apple change management Designing Apples structure The major stakeholders that were involved in designing Apple structure were the top governance and management that is Tim Cooks who basically hired Paul Deneve who was to facilitate the special project in designing the company structure. Through this clear designing of the structure, the CEO of the company infused it and communicated to other members of the company which has been constantly been up to date operations. The human resource management of Apple operations was involved in designing and facilitating the change this was through critically enabling effective and credible operations during the transition period through financing, human resource roles and infusing the reality into the company operations. The first change model that has been infused by the Apple company is the incorporation of the both imaginative and execution innovations. Evidently, the company has adapted the needs of its employees working environment which has nullified actual presence at the workstation in delegating various duties and responsibilities which has enabled efficient delivery thus nullifying organizational rituals and routines. This then has created a self-governance and transformative culture by Apple employees which have boosted the morale and corporate value. It is also clear that the company has focused on pairing things to their core through the simplification process that has been modified by the current leader Jobs this was through distilling Apple product matrix into a four-product grid of computers that entails; Pro-desktop, pro notebook consumer desktop, and consumer notebook. This was through streamlining Apple hardware development team to their bare essentials, training brainpower of Apple engineers to achieve the best from essentially just four systems. Finally, the shifted the Apple governance and leadership system which is a critical change model where the current CEO has focused on putting an end to feuds and taking up an unheard of level of interests in details of the product's development which has been part and parcel of Apple DNA. In these scopes then it is clear that overall goals of the Apple Company have been more than successful through the effective use of collaborative structures which has allowed different minds and ideas to come together working with the same goals.
