Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. It includes for one of every
three detections in the United States. Breast cancers are life threatening tumors that develops in
one or it can be in both our breasts. If left untreated it can spread, making the situation become
worse. A female breast contains fatty tissues which also include fibrous connective tissue. As
women we also have lobes which cleave and they also contain milk producing glands. When
understanding the factors that affect breast cancer, there's always a better chance to prevent it.
Prevention is always key when it comes to serious problems. Getting regular checkups allows an
individual to check on themselves. Examination’s are so important as well because it allows the
doctors to check on the person. It's good to think of opportunities for women and men, to take
control of their health. As humans if we understand the effects of breast cancer we can further
help our future. Therefore, I will speak more on the topic of break cancer and the factors that
influence our health.
Some women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes. While the disease
varies with women who are older, it can occur at with people at a younger age. Some men get
breast cancer too but its not very likely. Even though breast cancer is a terrible disease, people
can still prevent it. There are factors that can impact the possibility of breast cancer. The factors
that you can command are too a certain extent. Humans have control of their lifestyles.
As humans we make choices everyday, just like making choices to be healthy or not.
Smoking or drinking alcohol can cause harm to a person's body if consumed too much. In the
article The Nations Health by Julia Haskins states that “You have some control over your
lifestyle choices, such as smoking or drinking alcohol. Both behaviors have been linked to breast
cancer and other diseases.” In this statement she is explaining the certain issues that can lead to
breast cancer itself. As someone who grew up with women that had breast cancer, I understand
that a lot of bad choices in your life can really affect your health. For example my aunt had
breast cancer, and when she was younger she would make poor lifestyle choices. As she got
older, she didn't go to her doctors for regular checkups, but one day she felt a lump on her breast.
When she felt the lump she went to the doctors immediately, then finding out that she was
diagnosed with breast cancer. Thats why its very important to get checks up, because our body
goes through changes everyday. As humans we are only getting older, so it's very important to
prevent diseases.
Examinations are so important for individuals especially if you feel like something is
wrong with your body internally. Growing up, my mother took doctors appointments very
serious. I've always went for my yearly check ups because I want to ensure that im healthy
especially because breast cancer runs in my family. In the article “Treating Breast Cancer” it
states “ It’s important to discuss all of your treatment options, including their goals and possible
side effects, with your doctors to help make the decision that best fits your needs”. This is very
important because when you discuss your problems with your doctors you are able to ensure that
you're healthy and other health topics to be concerned for.
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. It includes for one of every
three detections in the United States. Not only do we have take care of our bodies, but we have to
make sure that we are consuming the proper needs internally. For example good food choices,
and plenty of water. Exercising is also key, because it helps your body become stronger. As we
get older, we go through many changes as humans, so it's important to take the right steps in
becoming healthy especially to prevent disease, such as breast cancer. Growing up I take very
good care of myself so I can ensure that im preventing breast cancer, because many woman in
my family has has it. Examinations is also super important so we can make sure that our body’s
insides are functioning the right way. Therefore we should all be careful of the foods that we
consume in our body, and take better caution of ourselves.
