Introduction

A Smart Space is a physical or digital environment in which humans and
technology-enabled systems interact in increasingly open, connected,
coordinated and intelligent ecosystems

Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) & AI form the backbone of such
spaces

Some example of smart spaces are smart cities, digital workplaces, smart
homes and connected factories
Smart Cities

Data-driven decision-making

Safer communities

Reduced environmental footprint

Smart transportation

Increased digital equity

Efficient utilization of public utilities

Better workforce engagement

Predictive analytics to monitor infrastructure
Implementations

Barcelona reduced traffic
congestion during peak hours by
introducing smart parking by almost
30%

40% of the homes in Helsinborg
are heated via energy created by
recycling waste through their
incineration plants.

Singapore has controlled water
utilization by implementing smart
measuring sensors

25% of all transportation in the
UAE will be autonomous by 2030.

IoT implementation for waste
management in Dubai
