Skin Inquiry Project Individually or in groups of 2-3 you will make up a question involving the integumentary system; this can involve the skin, hair, or nails. Be creative when thinking of a question you want to try to answer because you will be designing an experiment to answer your question. For example: “Does a man’s razor or a woman’s razor work better?” You will have 2 weeks to develop and perform your experiment. When we get back from fall break you will be presenting your experiments and results to the class. For your presentation you will need to develop a PowerPoint which needs to include your question, hypothesis and prediction, your experiment with your procedures, independent and dependent variable, the control, the data you collected, and your results. You should include pictures of your experiment and/or a video of you performing the experiment. Make sure for your data you have it organized in charts, graphs, etc. Along with a copy of your PowerPoint presentation you will need to turn in a paper which should include all the information on your PowerPoint but in full sentences and more detail. I will have a sign up sheet with presentation dates; we will begin presentations the week we get back from fall break. Possible Ideas: 1.
