Optimal Settings for Multiple Groups of Smart Inverters on Secondary Systems Using
Autonomous Control
This paper based on optimal methodology for smart inverter that will improve PV integration
into distribution systems. To improve grid integration, the distribution engineer can choose from
default, “out-of-the-box” type settings or choose to optimize the configuration settings based
upon location-specific grid characteristics. Regardless, the objective is to improve the integration
of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) by reducing or eliminating adverse impacts caused by
the DER and in some cases improve overall distribution performance. This paper describes
different several inverter functions to determine optimal settings for effective use of advanced
inverters. Use Case Feeder model , Smart inverter functionalities , Autonomous vs integrated
control, Load and solar probability of daily variations.
Optimal Component Sizing of a Four-wheel Independently-Actuated Electric Vehicle with
a Real-time Torque Distribution Strategy
This paper investigates the optimal component sizing problem for a four-wheel independentlyactuated (FWIA) electric vehicle. The main purpose has to minimize the energy consumption
and maximizing the driving range. Electric Vehicles (EVs) can use the electric energy stored in a
storage device this used of energy can be obtained from the renewable source of energy such as
Solar, Wind energy etc. Typically, four in-wheel motors are used independently controlled
through vehicle control unit (VCU) in a FWIA EVs. Torque strategies can be grouped into two
categories (1) the equal distribution strategy (2) the real-time torque distribution strategy.
Vehicle Modeling It includes a vehicle dynamics model, a generalized battery model, an in-wheel
motor model and several target driving cycles. There is a control loop which which determine the
mechanical power to follow the target dynamic Cycle. In this paper, the particle swarm
optimization method (PSO) is presented to realize the optimal component sizing of a FWIA
electric vehicle.
A survey on security control and attack detection for industrial cyber-physical systems
In this paper I have studied the Cyber Physical System (CPS) This paper, from a control theory
perspective, presents an overview of recent advances on security control and attack detection of
industrial CPSs.CPS consist of most of embedded devices such as different sensor and actuator.
By doing some special tasks is to decide which actuators/sensors should be activated to perform
a particular action or how to manage control/sampling actions properly. i have also studied the
System Model for Industrial CPS and Cyber Attach in Industrial CPS. The attacker can either
arbitrarily disturb the system dynamics with certain types or induce any perturbation when
without enough security protection of hardware or software strategies. Performance analysis for
industrial CPSs. stability is an essential requirement, under which, other objectives, such as
robustness, security and reliability, can be imposed on CPSs via various approaches the purpose
of Cyber attack to destroy the desired performance of the safety critical CPS therefore there is
Attack detection for industrial CPS.
Hybrid AC-DC Micro grid: Systematic Evaluation of Control Strategies:
Hybrid ac-dc micro grid combines both A.C and D.C system by using control strategies.
Integration of micro grid can improve the performance of the grid. the separate ac and dc sub
grid are connected by interlinking converter (IC) forming hybrid micro grid(HMG). The ac sub
grid of the HMG consists of ac generators such as induction generator interfaced wind turbines,
synchronous generators fed by diesel, small-hydro, etc. as well as ac loads such as pumps and
fans. The dc sub grid includes power sources having dc output such as photovoltaic (PV)
modules, fuel cells, etc., and dc loads such as LEDs and digital computers .there are different
topology which are to be used such as conventional topology, AC/DC multi grid topology , SST
based topology, and other topologies. IC (interlink converter) as just like a rectifier depend upon
on the direction of power flow. IC reducing the energy exchange between the sub grid and
increases the efficiency.
They are different Topology of IC in this paper. Such as Single stage IC, Two stage ICs. Two
stage ICs reported in literature either have cascade or parallel combination of different type of
converters and Advanced ICs. Control of Hybrid Micro Grid Specific control objectives can be
power control, bus voltage control, storage energy management, improving steady state and
transient response, increasing stability margin, managing unbalances among phases, grid current
control, harmonic mitigation, achieving unity power factor (UPF) operation, fault detection, etc
There are also some other strategies such as Power Quality, Stability Studies, Protection
Strategies.
