Creating a Mad-Lib 1. Choose a subject to write about from the following list: a. an account of a bus ride to school b. a letter home from summer camp c. a fairy tale d. a love song 2. Write the piece and leave out key words. Under each word you leave out, write the part of speech needed, and if necessary whether it should be plural. 3. You will have 15 minutes to finish your Mad-Lib. You will then exchange it with another group. One person from the group will ask the rest of the group for the parts of speech needed and fill them in. When everyone is done, all Mad Libs will be read aloud to the class by the teacher.
