Flavivirdae Description
 any of a group of RNA viruses, mostly having arthropod vectors,
that cause a number of serious human diseases including yellow
fever, dengue, various types of encephalitis, and hepatitis C.


Type of Dieases

Dengue Fever: a debilitating viral disease of the tropics, transmitted by mosquitoes,
and causing sudden fever and acute pains in the joints.

Hepatitis C is a viral infection that causes liver inflammation, sometimes leading to
serious liver damage. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) spreads through contaminated
blood.

Japanese encephalitis: An infection found in Asia and the west Pacific that can
cause brain swelling.

West Nile encephalitis.A febrile disease caused by the West Nile virus that is
transmitted from birds to the common Culex mosquito and then to people.
