odern accounting looks very different
from its predecessors. With each passing
year, accounting processes and strategies
grow in complexity and efficiency. Accounting
services are becoming more commercially viable,
technologically focused, and tied to collaboration
between accountants and clients. With more
cross-functionality between accounting services
and other major functions like finance, marketing,
and sales, modern accountants must be prepared
to develop a multifaceted skill set to navigate the
demands of the field.
Maryville University recognizes the need for
flexible accounting programs informed by
modern accounting processes. That’s why both
our online BS in Accounting and online MS in
Accounting feature updated curriculums informed
by professional leaders.
