Symptom
• VA06 is raising a shortdump in S/4 HANA.
• When using transaction VA06, dump occurs with message "SYSTEM_ABAP_ACCESS_DENIED".
• Dump SYSTEM_ABAP_ACCESS_DENIED caused through Blacklist Monitor in SAP S/4HANA for
the transaction VA06.
• Access to development object prevented by system configuration.
Environment
• Sales And Distribution (SD)
• SAP Enhancement package for SAP ERP, version for SAP HANA
Reproducing the Issue
1. Navigate to command field.
2. Type transaction VA06.
3. Press enter.
4. Receive shortdump.
Cause
Transaction VA06 is now a blacklisted object. Blacklisted objects belong to SAP and SAP has blacklisted
them (either temporarily or permanently) in S/4 HANA releases due to many reasons.
One among them is the fact that the functionality is not compatible with S4HANA architecture. Another
reason is the functionality is no longer required in the related application / product under S/4 HANA.
Resolution
To re-activate one of these blacklist items please proceed as follows in 2249880 - Dump
SYSTEM_ABAP_ACCESS_DENIED caused through Blacklist Monitor in SAP S/4HANA on premise.
