Read each card. Decide if the underlined words identify the cause or the effect of the sentence. Write your answers on your recording sheet. © Foreman Teaches, 2013 This free product is part of my nine literacy activities product. The activities included in the product are perfect for small groups, independent work, or for literacy centers. I have included two posters, student directions, and answer key, and a student recording sheet. I suggest printing the student direction page in color (It does look fine printed in grayscale.), laminating it and attaching it to the front of 9x12 envelopes. Print the cards in color or in grayscale on color cardstock, laminate, and cut for student use. Place the cards in Ziploc bags and keep them and the recording sheets inside the brown envelopes.
