Abiotic factors (climate, water, etc.)
Plants and other producers found in the biome
Animals and other consumers found in the biome.
Feeding relationships - an example of a food chain
An example of a food pyramid
Pick one of the biogeochemical cycles we discussed, and show how it plays a
part in the biome.
Describe how latitude and heat transport influence the biome.
Show examples of niche and community interactions in the biome.
Show an example of ecological succession.
Cultural aspects - songs, poems, novels, etc. about this biome.
Describe how this biome has influenced human cultures.
Describe threats - destruction, pollution, etc. to this biome
Divide up the above tasks and assign some to each member of your group. Put all your
work together into your presentation, and be prepared to really present, not just read
your slides or poster. This will be a summative assessment.
