In order to receive insurance, shipments must be FULLY enclosed within a wooden or metal crate. If
damage occurs, Fastenal will pay the following based off of Density Class: cl 50 = $2 per lb.// cl 55 = $2.50
per lb.//cl 60 = $3 per lb.// cl 65 = $4 per lb.// cl 70 - 100 = $5 per lb.// cl 110 - 200 = $7 per lb.// cl 250 =
$15 per lb.// cl 300 = $20 per lb.// cl 400=$25 per lb.// cl500= $25 per lb.
Insurance is void if crate and/or pallet is faulty
Shipments must be completely packaged prior to dropping off at the store unless arrangements have
been made, these will be only confirmed by email.
$100 Fee will be assessed if shipment is not pallet jack/forklift accessible (unless it is parcel shipment)
A storage fee of $5 per day will be charged beginning 2 business days after being notified of the
shipment's arrival at its destination. Shipment must be picked up within 30 days of notification or
Fastenal will place the shipment into the nearest Fastenal Distribution Center and will dispose of the
shipment.
All shipments must be secured to a pallet with NO hangover (unless it is a parcel shipment)
Must be drained of all fluids and all batteries must be diconnected, if fluids are not drained , a cleanup
fee of up to $150 will be assessed.
NO HAZMAT or GLASS
Fastenal reserves the right to deny a shipment at any given time.

By Signing below customer acknowledges that declared shipment dimensions, weight and
value are correct. A fee will be assessed proportionate to the actual dimensions and
weight.
