Carry out research into the theories, principles and models of learning in education and training.
Write a report in which you analyse: a) 1.1 analyse theories, principles and model of learning.
Learning theories are an organized set of principles explaining how individuals acquire, retain, and recall knowledge. By studying and knowing the different learning theories, we can better understand how learning occurs. The principles of the theories can be used as guidelines to help select instructional tools, techniques and strategies that promote learning.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs has often been represented in a hierarchical pyramid with five levels. The four levels (lower -levels. Are considered growth needs. The lower level needs must be satisfied before higher -order needs can influence behaviour.
The levels are as follows:-
Self-Actualisation includes morality, creativity, problem solving.
Esteem includes confidence, self -esteem, achievement, respect, and so on
Belonginess – includes love, friendship, intimacy, family etc.
Safety – includes security of environment, resources, health, property etc.
Physiological needs includes air, food, water, sex, sleep, and other factors towards homeostatic etc.
