B2 Business Vantage It is formerly known as Cambridge English: Business Vantage (BEC Vantage), is one of our Cambridge English advantages. It shows employers that you're ready to do business at an international level. With a B2 Business Vantage qualification, you show employers that you are ready to work successfully in international business. This exam could help you when applying for new jobs, getting a promotion, or developing your career. There are three Cambridge Exam for Business, Each one is targeted at a different level and B2 Business Vantage is the second of these exams. The content for each exam is based on everyday work and business tasks and is designed to develop your business English skills. A B2 Business Vantage certificate shows that you can: write short business messages and reports. read articles from business publications listen to, understand and give your opinions in meetings. Accepted globally by top international companies like Procter & Gamble, HSBC and AstraZeneca, as well as education institutions and business schools. Reading : Shows you can deal confidently with different types of text, such as business publications and correspondence. Writing : Requires you to be able to produce two different pieces of writing, such as letters, reports, proposals and emails. Listening : Requires you to be able to follow and understand a range of spoken materials, such as interviews, discussions and presentations. Speaking : Tests your ability to communicate effectively in face-to-face situations. You will take the Speaking test with one or two other candidates. What is a Statement of Results? Your Statement of Results contains the following information: Score on the Cambridge English Scale for each of the four skills (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking) Score on the Cambridge English Scale for the overall exam Grade (A, B, C, Level B1) for the overall exam CEFR level for the overall exam. Results B2 Business Vantage gives detailed, informative results. All candidates receive a Statement of Results. If your performance ranges between CEFR levels C1 and B1, you will also receive a certificate. Certificates are normally sent to exam centres within three months of the exam. Please contact your centre if you need to know the specific date. Your certificate can be awarded at different levels, depending on your achievement. B2 Business Vantage – Level C1 Exceptional candidates sometimes show ability beyond B2 level. If you achieve a grade A in your exam, you will receive the Business English Certificate Vantage stating that you demonstrated ability at Level C1. B2 Business Vantage – Level B2 If you achieve grade B or C in your exam, you will be awarded the Business English Certificate Vantage at Level B2. Level B1 Certificate We believe it is important to recognise your achievement, even if you do not reach Level B2. If your performance falls within Level B1, you will receive a Cambridge English certificate stating that you demonstrated ability at Level B1.
