Mitosis Poster Project
Goal: You and your tablemates will create a poster showing the stages of Mitosis and Cytokinesis using a variety of
materials. Your poster will be accurate, professional, and show your understanding of the cell cycle. This is an
introduction to the cell cycle, if you need to use
Instructions, your poster will include:
• A Title
• Interphase, All stages of Mitosis, & cytokinesis (at least 6 cells)
• Descriptions of each stage in student friendly terms
• How to identify each stage in student friendly terms
• A variety of materials provided by the teacher
Group Members will each have a role and participate in the creation of the poster
• Illustrator → Creates the diagrams of the stages
• Scribe→ provides the descriptions of each stage
• Surveyor → provides the identifiers for each stage
• Investigator → does research for the group, gets supplies for the illustrator
o If you are in a group of three there will be no investigator
