The Seismological Society of America (SSA) no longer requires that permission be obtained from SSA or the author(s) for the use of tables, figures, or short extracts of papers published in SSA journals, provided that the source be appropriately and accurately cited. However, the author's permission must be obtained for modifying the material in any way beyond simple redrawing.
SSA recommends that the credit line read "authors, article tide, journal title, volume number, page number(s), year, 9 Seismological Society of America."
SSA does require that the article be published by SSA before any material may be repro- duced therefrom.
Back issues of volumes 66 to date of SRL are still available. Limited quantities of issues of vol- umes before 66 are also available. Issues from volumes 66 to 72 are $10.00, except for 68:1 and 68:4, which are $20.00 each. Issues from volumes 73 and 74 are $15.00, except for 73:5 and 74:5, which are $25. Issues from volume 75 are $20. Available issues from volumes before 66 are $15 each, except for issue 58:4, which is $25. Orders should be sent to the Seis- mological Society of America, 201 Plaza Professional Building, El Cerrito, California 94530.
