Combining voice and data LANs with broadband internet, Integrated Access Devices (IADs) bring homes and
smaller businesses a level of service previously only available to large companies.
Thanks to our extensive DECT / CAT-iq expertise, you can create IADs with exceptional voice quality. We offer a
range of flexible ICs, software and reference designs for the CAT-iq standard, enabling outstanding wideband
audio and real-time data services. Furthermore, through our latest CAT-iq software, our drop-in modules for
IADs include field-upgradable support for all industry-standard protocols including DECT, DECT 6.0 and CAT-iq.
With Dialog, you have a partner who is a key player in driving IAD development. We cooperate closely with industry leaders like Broadcom and are active in industry consortia to such as the DECT Forum, ETSI and CableLabs.
As a result, you can be sure of easy integration whether you’re developing xDSL, cable or fiber to the home
(FTTH) solutions. Through the DECT Forum, we are also involved in defining new standards. Moreover as codevelopers of the ultra-low-energy DECT ULE, we’re opening the door to take IADs further into the world of

Software
Natalie DECT / CAT-iq protocol software
Natalie is a complete, scalable DECT / CAT-iq protocol software environment. Supplied in C source code and
based on a user-friendly modular architecture, it allows you to quickly develop customized DECT applications.
You have full control over the software, which allows easy configuration of specific application requirements
and additional features.
You can use Natalie with the entire Dialog product family. It incorporates all industry-accepted protocols (including DECT, DECT 6.0, KDECT, 2.4 GHz and all CAT-iq generations) plus DSP-related and operating system functionality. In addition, the software is fully field upgradable, and our DECT / CAT-iq software roadmap ensures fast
migration when new standards are released.

Our drop-in cordless voice modules are the ideal choice for rapid development. They combine all necessary hardware – including transceiver, baseband, power amplifier and antenna – plus complete protocol software and an
application interface in one compact package. Alternatively, you can choose one of our IAD-friendly single-chip
solutions or standalone baseband and transceiver combinations. We’re also developing IP solutions targeting
xDSL, cable and Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) applications for integration into chipsets.
No matter which approach you choose, you can be sure of the highest HD voice quality. All our solutions support
