Accelerated MBA Program (4+1)
The IMS has established an articulation with the College of Business at RIT for their MBA
program. The advantage of the Accelerated MBA program (4+1) is it allows students to
waive 6 foundation courses in the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) MBA program so
that it is possible to complete and MBA in one calendar year.
Courses taken at Lycoming College can be used to waive RIT MBA Foundations Courses.
Two undergraduate courses are needed to be exempt from each MBA course.

RIT Financial Analysis for Managers can be waived

A maximum of 6 MBA foundation courses may be waived for a period of up to 5 years
from the time the undergraduate course was completed.
•
Only those courses in which a student earns a B or better will qualify towards waiver
credit.
•
Students must submit an application for admission into the MBA program. Minimum
GMAT scores and GPA, as specified by RIT, are required.
•
Advising of students in this agreement will be undertaken by faculty and staff members
of Lycoming College and RIT College of Business, working on a collaborative basis.
