SAP® Project Portfolio Monitoring

To ensure the supply of electricity to the people of Israel, the Israel Electric Corporation
(IEC) must continuously invest in its infrastructure. One goal was to manage all
transformation and distribution projects using one system. This would help IEC gain
the flexibility to analyze the feasibility of investment options and better control and
monitor schedules and budgets throughout the lifecycle of a project.
With the SAP® Project Portfolio Monitoring rapid-deployment solution, IEC has an
overview of all capital investment projects in a single, integrated system. And by
following best practices and a predefined plan, the implementation was timely and
efficient. The result is improved monitoring of groups of projects at the portfolio level.
This means better decision making by providing standard criteria for data and a
single source of truth.
