EXTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS
The ESCO battery unit series are constructed from high quality
corrosion and flame resistant ABS thermoplastic. White finish
is standard. Emergency lighting heads are molded from high
impact thermoplastic in a matching colour and positioned on a
ratcheted track for accurate positioning. Lens material is a highimpact polystyrene. Universal mounting bracket is easily snapped
onto the ESCO housing. External test switch and monitor LED are
standard.

The ESCO battery unit is available in 120/347VAC input. Standard

LAMP HEAD FEATURES
The ESCO battery unit is supplied with two [2] front mounted
square heads with 5.4W wedge base incandescent lamps. Lamp
heads are mounted within a ratcheted track that allows correct and
accurate glare-free beam positioning. Lamp heads are constructed
of high impact thermoplastic in a colour matching the finish of the
housing. Lens material is a high-impact polystyrene.
Innovative MOUNTING
The ESCO emergency lighting unit uses a universal mounting
bracket that snaps into the ESCO housing. The housing snaps
together for fast and simple installation. Easy field wiring and
durability make the ESCO a favorite among contractors.
TECHNICAL
BATTERY TECHNOLOGY
The ESCO series is designed with a maintenance free, sealed valve
regulated lead calcuim battery that provides a minimum emergency
duration of 90 minutes (for the listed rating). Recharge time of the
battery is twenty-four [24] hours. Low voltage disconnect prevents
damage to the battery due to deep discharge.
CHARGER SPECIFICATIONS
The ESCO series utilizes a high-efficiency charger providing low
voltage disconnect protection. Charger status is easily determined
via a diagnostic LED display. An external push button test switch
allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the operational
status of the unit and lamp load.

ceiling mounting. Suitable for indoor/damp installation.
