Community Service Centres
The Region covers four areas:
Hunter & Central Coast Region
The Hunter Central Coast is a diverse region
• Newcastle/Lake Macquarie,
incorporating metropolitan, regional and rural
• Lower Hunter,
areas.
• Upper Hunter and
• the Central Coast.
There are 11 Community Service Centres (CSCs) in
the region:
• Cessnock
• Charlestown
• Edgeworth
• Gosford
• Lakes
• Maitland
• Mayfield
• Muswellbrook
• Peninsula
• Raymond Terrace
• Wyong.
Metro Central Region
The region covers four areas:
Metro Central is a culturally diverse region whose
• Northern Sydney
focus is on expanding strong interagency
• Southern Sydney
partnerships and understandings.
• South East Sydney and
• the Inner West.
Metro Central has eight Community Service
Centres (CSCs):
• Burwood
• Central Sydney
• Chatswood
• East Sydney
• Epping
• Lakemba
• St George
• Sutherland
Metro South West Region
The region covers the areas of:
The Metro South West region is characterised by
• Bankstown,
a diverse range of multicultural communities,
• Bowral,
making it a dynamic and vibrant region.
• Campbelltown,
• Fairfield,
• Ingleburn and
• Liverpool.

Metro West Region
The region covers the Western metropolitan
areas from Hawkesbury in the south of the region,
to Auburn and Katoomba in the West.
The region covers the areas of:
• Nepean,
• Cumberland,
• Blacktown and
• Baulkham Hills.
There are nine Community Service Centres (CSCs)
in the region:
• Auburn
• Blacktown
• Hawkesbury
• Katoomba
• Lithgow
• Mt Druitt
• Parramatta
• Penrith
• St Marys
Northern Region
The Region covers three areas:
Northern Region is solution-focused in the
• Far North Coast,
interest of children and young people in OOHC,
• Mid North Coast and
their families and their communities.
• New England.

Southern Region
The region covers six areas:
The Southern Region is divided into two networks,
• Illawarra,
Illawarra and Southern Highlands, covering the
• Shoalhaven,
areas from the coast to the tablelands
• Bega,
• Batemans Bay,
• Cooma and
• Tablelands.
There are 10 Community Service Centres (CSCs) in
the region:

Western Region
The region covers the following networks:
The Western region is geographically diverse and
• Riverina/Murray,
covers approximately 70 per cent of NSW, in
• Central West and
remote, rural and urban/rural settings.
• Orana/Far West.
The Region is driven to providing a child-centred
out-of-home care sector, recognising where
possible, children and young people should
remain within their community to maintain
culture, identity and a connection to the
community.
