Ronald W. Peebles and Donald K. Dubbs vs. Record Town of Houston, Inc., et. al. (Fall, 1983
through Spring, 1984). Estimated damages involving work contracts that were not honored
for plaintiff. After two findings for the plaintiff, the case was settled out of court.
MMR, Inc., San Antonio, Texas vs. Modern Manufacturing. (May-June, 1977). Trade practices
case under Texas Commercial Code. With Dale B. Truett prepared sales and profit
projections to ascertain damages from unfair practices of defendant. Case was found for the
defendant.
Padre Concrete Corporation vs. Capitol Aggregates, et. al. (Fall, 1975, through Summer, 1976).
Antitrust case in Federal District Court for the Western District of Texas. With Dale B.
Truett worked on data analysis and cost and profit projections in local concrete industry.
Prepared materials for arguments on behalf of McDonough Bros., Inc., Barrett Industries,
Vulcan Materials, Capitol Aggregates (H. B. Zachary Co.), and nine other defendants. Case
was found for the defense.
Presented seminar with Dr. Gilroy Zuckerman for the North Carolina Savings and Loan
Association, Spring, 1975.
