2. Compliance with requirements of international standards
Copper wire with diameter 1,15-4,50 mm (soft (annealed) or hard-drawn) manufactured by JSC “JV “Katur-Invest” in
accordance with TS 16-705.492-2005 “Electrotechnical round copper wire. Technical specifications” fully complies with
requirements of ASTM B 1-13, B 3-13 and EN 13602:2013 for copper wire

Copper wire is suitable for fabrication of conductors, cables, cords and other electrotechnical products
4. Characteristics
Nominal diameter tolerance: ± 0,02 mm (Ø: 1,15-2,95 mm); ± 0,03 mm (Ø: 2,95-3,81 mm);
± 0,04 mm (Ø: 3,81-4,50 mm).
Ovality of the section: should not exceed nominal diameter tolerance
Raw material: 8 mm copper rod, which complies with GOST R 53803-2010 “Copper rod for electrical purposes.

Surface finish: copper wire should have clean surface without scratches, marks, dints, fins, voids, skins, tears and other
defects, which leads the diameter of the wire out of tolerance. Dense blue or violet colors on the surface of soft (annealed)
grade of wire are not allowed.
Breaks: copper wire should not have drawing breaks down to diameter agreed with customer and manufacturer

Type of package: coil, winded on spooler in stretch film or coil, winded on coiler in cardboard box on wooden pallet, tied
by plastic straps

Type of winding: wind to wind (on spooler) or orbital (on coiler)
Special requirements: copper wire ends should be fixed in such a way, which prevents loosening or entangling of winds
Note: one continuous length of copper wire should be winded in coil
