Eliminates Beam Combining
Cooke delivers advanced laser technology with
the White Knight™ Laser. This hollow cathode
He-Cd laser is the only laser on the market that
simultaneously emits three primary colors (Red,
Green, and Blue), forming one white beam from
a single laser source. Combining the power of
three separate lasers into one dynamic source,
eliminates the process of beam combining and
alignment optics. The White Knight™ Laser offers
greater output power, lower cost and smaller
footprint compared to traditional laser sources.

Until now, commercially available He-Cd lasers
using the positive column discharge method
could only produce four lines in the ultra-violet to
blue range (325.0 nm and 441.6 nm). By using
the negative glow region for laser excitation, the
White Knight™ Laser produces a total of 12 laser
lines ranging from near infrared to ultra-violet.
It then selects 5 of these lines, producing a
true-match to the primary colors (Red, Green,
and Blue). Because both the green and red lines
simultaneously oscillate with the blue, one laser
serves as a single source for the full spectrum
of colors.
Low Noise
The White Knight™ Laser’s hollow cathode design
reduces optical noise to less than 0.5% (rms),
compared to 3-5% (rms) with positive column
He-Cd lasers.
Various Output Power Levels
The White Knight™ Laser is comprised of a laser
head and power supply. The laser is available
from small to mid-frame models, available in
20 mW, 30 mW or 50 mW output power levels.
A 3-in-1 laser power meter is available for
operation up to 100 mW measurement range.
Additional accessories include laser delivery
guides in multi or single mode, and laser
protective eyewear.

Laser Power Meter
Model LPM-100
The Model LPM-100 simultaneously measures the output power
of the red, green and blue output of the White Knight™ Laser.
This 3-in-1 meter features separate power displays for each color,
a 100 mW measurement range and analog output.

Laser Delivery Guides
Models LDG-100SM and LDG-100MM
The output from the White Knight™ Laser can be directly
coupled to single or multi mode optical fibers for remote
delivery of the laser beam. Various lengths and output
configurations are available. The Model LDG-100SM, single
mode laser delivery guide maintains the beam profile of the
red, green and blue beams.

Laser Protective Eyewear
Model LPE-100
The Model LPE-100 is specifically selected to provide eye
protection against the White Knight™ Laser output while
maintaining good light transmission outside the protected
wavelengths. Proper laser safety eyewear should be worn
at all times during laser operation.
