Wireless Receiver Module for Wall Outlet A high power (16 A) receiver module that is relatively easy to fit behind an existing wall outlet in order to turn the entire wall outlet into a wireless On/Off function. Can be controlled by all self learning transmitters in System Nexa and the System Nexa Pro series. Small and compact, suitable for permanent installation in mounting box Why WMR-3500 is unique The wiring of the current wall outlet is wiring the Earth / Live-in / Neutral-in directly into the socket terminal. This module adds another wireless feature while keeping your existing wall outlet. The receiver module comes with 2 wires with terminal connector (Live / Neutral) so no need to prepare additional wires during installation. Specification Wiring Before commencing work, ALWAYS isolate the mains power supply and switch off the main switch. Strip the solid wires (rigid conductor only) at least 10mm then connect the wires as per diagrams below, ensure terminals are properly tightened and no bare wire is visible. Suitable wire size for terminal: 1.6mm2 to 2.5mm2. Remove current AC Live-in / Neutral-in wires / Earth wires from the socket block terminals Connect AC Live-in / Neutral-in into terminal connector making sure it’s inserted correctly. Tidy terminal connector and place into wall box. Connect AC Live-out / Neutral-out into socket terminals. !Please leave the Earth wires until step D. Tidy wires and insert the module into wall box. Connect the earth wires into socket earth terminal. Connect back mains power supply. LED indicator will light ON for 10 seconds, this is to show you that the wires are connected correctly and power is active. To remove wires from terminal connector, simply push back and pull out the wires. Each connector have 2 terminals, both terminal can be used depending on your 4 current wiring at home. Single AC Live-in / Neutral-in Twin AC Live-in / Neutral-in Programming The receiver module can pair with up to 6 different remote controls at any one time as it has a maximum of 6 memories. This receiver cannot be controlled by “Code Switch System” remote transmitters. Only compatible with “Self Learning System” remote transmitters. / Self learning transmitters and Nexa Gateway. Programming using LEARNING MODE: On the receiver module press the ‘Learn’ button once, red LED with flash. It is now in learning mode. Using a remote control press the ‘ON’ button intended to be paired; the load/light will flash twice to confirm that the remote control is now paired. NOTE: Learning Mode lasts for 12 seconds; if no signal is received from a remote control during this time then the receiver module will automatically exit learning mode without pairing the device. !If, during learning mode the LED does not flash to confirm, this means that the receiver module’s memory is FULL and no further remote control remote controls may be paired with it unless one of the existing remote controls is first unpaired (see below). Un-pairing Removing single Device: On the receiver module press the ‘Learn’ button once, red LED with flash. It is now in learning mode. Using a remote control press the ‘OFF’ button intended to be unpaired; the load/ light will flash twice to confirm that the remote control is now unpaired. Clearing Memory (will remove all paired remote controls): On the receiver module press the ‘Learn’ button for 6 seconds (LED on receiver will flash), release then press once again. The load/light will flash twice to confirm that all remote control is now unpaired. Operation ON/OFF Function: Press the ‘ON’ button on remote control, the lights will illuminate. Red LED on receiver module will light ON for 1 second to indicate a signal is received from a remote control transmitter. Press the ‘OFF’ button on remote control, the light will turn OFF.
