This system is activated in the event of an attempt to extract the cylinder with force, with the lock closed (with latch bolts protruding). All the cylinder fitting (first installation or lock change) and testing operations must be carried out with the lock open (with latch bolts retracted) to avoid activating the locking system. If this is not done, the lock will irreversibly lock in the closed position. Gardesa will not accept any complaints if these instructions have not been followed. USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CYLINDER 1 - Fully insert the key. Do not force the key and do not exert twisting movements on it during insertion or extraction. Extract the key at the end of every opening/closing operation. 2 - Do not use foreign bodies or non-original keys to operate the cylinder. 3 - Never use the key to pull or push the door. 20 IMPBAT08-25 - Rev. 00 SECURITY CYLINDER INSTALLATION Unscrew the pins (5) and remove the fixing plate (3) leaving the anti-drill protection (7) in its housing. Screw and tighten the hex screw (1) on the cylinder (2) from the inside and insert the cylinder in its housing in the lock. Insert the fixing plate (3) from the inside of the lock with the pin (4) direct towards the hexagonal head screw (1). Insert the fixing screws (5) with their bolts (6) and fix the anti-drill defender (7).
