All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or the National Electrical Code. Drywall Wings Light Engine INSTALLATION: 1. Cut opening in ceiling if needed. Fig 1 NOTE: Refer to chart Fig 1A for cutting correct sized opening. Fig 2 2. Remove Light Engine from Plaster Frame, by removing (4) security screws and loosening (4) convenience screws. Then slide Engine out. Plug cord from Light Engine into Power Supply. 355.6 mm (14 in) 431.8 mm (17 in) 4. Run approved conduit and AC wires to J-Box and connect AC wires to supply with wire nuts. Then snap Power Supply onto J-Box. Fig 3 6. Push Light Engine up through opening in secured Plaster Frame and adjust the front edge of Light Engine flush to ceiling, tighten the (4) convenience screws. Once position is set, use (4) security screws to anchor Light Engine to Plaster Frame. Face Trim 406.4 mm (16 in) NOTE: Remove Drywall Wings for step (3) by taking off wing nut & screw. 3. Angle and fit Plaster Frame up through opening. Reapply Drywall Wings and Secure Plaster Frame to structure above ceiling using Drywall Wings or other standard industry approved method.
