DETAILED ILLUSTRATION
GENERAL:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure all electricity has been
turned off and electrical breaker has been locked out and tagged out.

2. To ensure the success of the installation, be sure to read these
instructions and review the diagrams thoroughly before beginning.
POD 4.4 - Cut opening Minimum 12-5/8” x 12-5/8” ( No more than 13-1/2” x 13-1/2” )
POD 4.2 - Cut opening Minimum 12-5/8” x 5- 3/4” ( No more than 13-1/2” x 6- 5/8” )
3. All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes,
ordinances, or the National Electrical Code.
NOTE: The important safeguards and instructions appearing in this

that may occur.

Drywall Wings
Light Engine
INSTALLATION:
1. Cut opening in ceiling if needed. Fig 1
NOTE: Refer to chart Fig 1A for cutting correct sized opening.

2. Remove Light Engine from Plaster Frame, by removing (4) security
screws and loosening (4) convenience screws. Then slide Engine out.
Space

5. Plug cord from Light Engine into Power Supply.

4. Run approved conduit and AC wires to J-Box and connect AC wires
to supply with wire nuts. Then snap Power Supply onto J-Box. Fig 3
6. Push Light Engine up through opening in secured Plaster Frame and
adjust the front edge of Light Engine flush to ceiling, tighten the (4)
convenience screws. Once position is set, use (4) security screws to
anchor Light Engine to Plaster Frame.

NOTE: Remove Drywall Wings for step (3) by taking off wing nut & screw.
3. Angle and fit Plaster Frame up through opening. Reapply Drywall
Wings and Secure Plaster Frame to structure above ceiling using
Drywall Wings or other standard industry approved method. Fig 2

7. Attach Face Trim by inserting spring-loaded capture arms into holes at
edge of Light Engine, then raising trim up flush to ceiling surface. Fig 4
