MOBIL DTE 20 SERIES DESCRIPTION The Mobil DTE 20 series is a line of hydraulic anti-wear oils with supreme performance that are designed to satisfy a wide range of hydraulic equipment requirements. This oil series provides a longer filter lifetime and optimum equipment protection, reducing both maintenance and product manufacturing costs. They were developed in conjunction with the main hydraulic equipment manufacturers in order to comply with the strictest requirements of severe hydraulic systems that use high-pressure, high-power pumps, and also to comply with the requirements of other hydraulic system components, such as servo-valves and numerical control tools. These oils comply with the strictest requirements of a wide range of hydraulic system manufacturers and components that use designs with various metals, thus providing a single product with unsurpassable operating characteristics. The DTE 20 series oils are formulated with high-quality base oils and a carefully selected additive system, which prevents the formation of corrosive materials. They are designed to work with systems that operate under severe conditions in which high levels of anti-wear are required, together with a strongly protective film; they have even been formulated to work in systems for which hydraulic oils without anti-wear additives are recommended. PROPERTIES & BENEFITS The Mobil DTE 20 series hydraulic oils provide unbeatable resistance against oxidation that permits greater oil and filter change intervals. Their high level of anti-wear and excellent protective film result in exceptional equipment performance which, in turn, reduce faults and increase production capacity. Its controlled demulsion property allows these oils to work well in systems contaminated with water, in both small and large quantities. Properties Quality reserve. Potential advantages and benefits Enhanced system cleaning. Maintains a high level of performance under continuous severe operating conditions. Anti-wear. Wear reduction. Protection of systems that use various metals. Oxidation stability. Provides long oil and equipment lifetimes. Lengthens filter lifetime. Protection against corrosion. Prevents internal system corrosion. Reduces the negative effects of moisture in the system. Protects components consisting of various metals from corrosion. Complies with a wide range of system demands. One product can replace several. Minimisation of inventory requirements. Air separation properties. Reduction of foam and its negative effects. Separation of water. Protection of systems where moisture is present. Good separation of large quantities of water. Properties of maintaining cleanliness. Reduction of deposits and sludge in the system. Protection of critical components, such as servo-valves. Enhanced total system performance. APPLICATIONS • Hydraulic systems in which deposit formation would be critical, such as numerical control machines (NC), particularly those systems employing servo-valves. • Systems in which the presence of small quantities of water is unavoidable. • In systems with gears and bearings. • Systems that require a high level of anti-wear protection and capacity to withstand loads. • Applications requiring a protective film against corrosion, as in systems where small quantities of water are unavoidable. • Machinery employing a wide range of components that use several metals. • Applications in which deposits and sludge form with conventional oils.
