Pipex px® Concrete Protective Liners
Bespoke Thermoplastic concrete protective liners are suitable for
rectangular or circular applications, such as tanks and manholes.
Protective liners are also suitable for concrete pipe work.
The bespoke liners can be factory fabricated or constructed insitu to
provide a liner and chemical resistant seal to the concrete construction.
The liners will be supplied to site as completed factory prefabricated
units or optional insitu construction, to suit complete or partial repairs.
Protective Liner Detail Drawings
CAD detail drawings of each liner, based on consultants’ design, will be
submitted by Pipex px for approval by the client. Drawing details will
indicate size and depth of liner.
Installation and Loading
For handling & installation refer to Pipex px® Work Instruction WP47.
Operation and Maintenance
When installed to Pipex px® installation instructions the protective liners
will
operate with minimum maintenance.
Due to the nature of the thermoplastic construction materials, the units will
resist the build up of Fat’s, Oil’s & Grease (FOG). The liners can be
pressure jetted to a maximum pressure of 180 bar 2600 psi in accordance
with WRc jetting standard.
If alterations are required to the protective liner, Pipex px® will be
contacted to
discuss the procedure.
