Early Learning Coalition VPK Registration Process The Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program began as a constitutional amendment passed by Florida voters in November 2002 and signed into law January 2, 2005. It is designed to prepare every four-year-old in Florida for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. All children who turn 4 years old by September 1, 2015 are eligible for the FREE VPK program that is offered before the start of their Kindergarten year. Warner Christian Academy accepts the VPK voucher for the 8:00-11:30 a.m. VPK instructional portion of the day. Wrap-around care is available for the hours before and after at the cost of $82.00 per week. VPK Certificates are available through the Early Learning Coalition (ELC). Apply for VPK Online: https://vpkcp.floridaearlylearning.com/ You will be directed to the Single Point of Entry page. You will be asked to set up an email account; you will then receive an email to verify registration. Click on the link to verify your email. Fill out the online application. Select Volusia County. Select school year (540 hours). You will need to submit the following information: Residency Verification – Valid driver’s license with current physical address, utility bill, bank statement, insurance policy, pay stub, lease, government correspondence, mortgage documents. Date of Birth Verification – certified copy of Birth Certificate, immunization records, passport, baptism certificate, military I.D., mature life insurance policy of at least 2 years.
