Participants in the 6th IDF Europe Youth Leadership Camp ready for Cyprus!
From 11 to 17 July 2016 Agros (Cyprus) will be home to the 6th edition of the IDF Europe
Youth Leadership Camp, organized in collaboration with the Cyprus Diabetes Association and
with the support of Eli Lilly, FEND, Medtronic and Roche.
As with the previous editions, 23 youth advocates from as many European countries will
participate in the Leadership Camp. This year geographical spread includes: Albania, Belgium,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Malta,
Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, The
Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
IDF Europe believes in the essential role youth play in raising awareness and promoting
change in diabetes. Therefore, the selected group is made up of active young advocates who
will be the voice of their generation locally and at the European level, thereby playing an active
role in our mission to promote diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide.
The week is built around:

highly interactive educational sessions on topics which will help participants in their
everyday life as well as in their advocacy activities back home
-
morning and afternoon physical activity
-
sessions designed for sharing experiences, discussing and learning from each other
Networking and entertainment are of course part of the week!
