response thermocouples
for fast surface temp.
measurement applications in three convenient
NPCO1 NPCO2 NPCO3
styles. Styles 1 and 2 are
made from 0.0005" thermocouple alloy foil. They are
flat, extremely low inertia construction and are an
ideal means of measuring the temperature of both flat
and curved metals, plastic and ceramic surfaces where
very fast response is desired. Style 3 is an economy
version constructed from 0.010" diameter bead welded
standard limit of error thermocouple wire. It should be
used where extremely fast response is not essential.

They are spring mounted thermocouples (J, K, T, E) offered in single or dual 53 Newton (12 lb) pull
magnets. Magnet will retain 90%
of its pull at 370°C (700°F).

SURFACE / INSERTION PROBES
The NEWPORT NP88000 Series surface/insertion
probes are supplied with retractable sensor cable, with
1 ft. expanding to 5 ft. These cables are rated to 105C
(220F). Available in type K and E calibrations, for
temps up to 760C. Can be used on stationary, moving,
or rotating surfaces. Other styles available.
