Solid State Relays
DESCRIPTION
The 10747 Solid State Relay (SSR) combines the functions of a power
contactor and an arc fault circuit breaker into one small and efficient module.
The SSR fits in a standard M12883/48-02 socket and can switch up to
25 A at 28 VDC. This device can switch inductive or incandescent loads at
the full rated current. There is also no wear out mechanism and the “on”
resistance does not increase with age providing a highly reliable solid state
alternative to mechanical relays.

ARC FAULT PROTECTION
The relay has the ability to detect and trip on intermittent arc faults produced by wire
insulation failure.
UNIQUE FAILSAFE DESIGN
Unlike other solid-state products, the relay contains patented circuitry that prevents a
failure in a short-circuited condition. This means that a failure will not cause a critical load
to remain powered in an unprotected and uncontrolled manner.
