Base Covers - Steel
Replacement Procedure
Base covers are made of ABS plastic or sheet steel depending on the type of pole. Bolt covers are made of
cast steel or aluminum and are typically used on round tapered steel (RTS).
To ensure and exact match, please provide the original order number of the pole. Order the replacement full
base cover using the following as an example only: SSS FBC FOR SSS 20 4C DDB MAEX 123-12345. Order the
replacement nut cover using the following as an example only: RTS BOLT COVERS for RTS 30 8-0B DDB MAEX
123-12345.
If this information is unavailable, please review the illustrations and photos of our different base covers, bolt
covers and nut cover discs, and order based on the nomenclature shown below the appropriate drawing or
photograph. Please make sure to include the color.
