ProductShowcase providing PV system OEMs with a compact protection solution for higher voltage distribution networks. Designed specifically to protect photovoltaic strings, these high performance fuse links are capable of interrupting low overcurrents associated with faulted PV systems – reverse current, multi-array faults – and meet the IEC 60269-6 (gPV) standard requirements. The compact size permits easy design and installation without increasing the footprint. The high grade ceramic used in the fuse link body and unique element design increases energy efficiency by reducing heat generation and watts loss. Solution For Photovoltaic Systems Cape Electric Corporation offers wide range of String Junction Boxes, Array Junction Boxes, Combiner Boxes, Main Junction Boxes / Re-Combiner Boxes, Generator Isolation Boxes, Meter Boxes, AC Distribution Boards, DC Distribution Boards, Surge Protection System, Lightning Protection System, Cable Management System, Earthing System and String monitoring & Energy Management system for the Solar PV market. The junction boxes are made from Fiber reinforced polycarbonate, which offers high quality and highest degree of protection. The products are suitable for outdoor applications due to its UV resistance characteristics and high mechanical Impact IK 08 in accordance with IEC 62262 and VDE 0470 Part 100. The junction boxes and combiner boxes are available in various input / output combinations up to 1000 volts DC. Lightning protection is built in the combiner boxes and is available up to 12.5 KA (10/350microsoconds) lightning currents. The SSPA consists of RF Assembly and an Electronic Power Conditioner [EPC] Assembly. The SSPA has two PIN attenuator circuits. One is a two-section commandable attenuator providing upto 24dB of attenuation for onboard gain control. The second attenuator is used for compensation of gain variation against temperature. Each attenuator section employs 3dB Lange couplers with two PIN diodes. The commandable attenuator is externally controlled through serial commands. The RF Assembly consists of low, medium and high power amplifier stages along with two attenuators. The nominal RF output power of the SSPA is 15 Watts (41.8dBm) in the specified operating frequency band. Nine amplifier stages provide the required 86 dB gain. All these stages are housed in one section of the RF package. The output of this section (i.e. small and medium power stages) is fed to the Power Amplifier section of the same housing, via co-axial cable.
