Shaker Heights City Schools Delayed Opening: Recreation Credit/ Refund Policy Refunds are available for classes or program registration cancellations by registrants up to 72 hours prior to the first class meeting. The Shaker Heights Recreation Department has a wide variety of summer camps that are sure to make your child’s summer a terrific one. We look forward to providing a wonderful, safe, and fun experience for your child. Our Traditional Camp for grades K-8 continues in a weekly format. We hope this format will make it easy to mix and match Traditional Camp with Specialty Camps and to work around summer vacation plans.
