Also, Cal-Green is ideal for cleaning traditional copper tube/ aluminum fin designed heat exchangers. For cleaning for aluminum tube/fin or newer microchannel type air cooled condensers with a product that meets typical OEM guidelines. Cal-Green is an outstanding choice for traditional copper tube/aluminum fin condensers when a natural, environmentally friendly coil cleaner is desired. OCHANN Directions for Use 1. Although Cal-Green is non-hazardous and is made with natural ingredients, follow industry guidelines by wearing goggles, gloves, and other protective garments when using this product. 2. System must be shut-off. 3. Apply using any of the Nu-Calgon sprayers or other durable, low pressure plastic sprayers. 4. Prepare cleaning solution by mixing one part Cal-Green to three parts water. Add the water to the sprayer first, and then add Cal-Green. 5. Spray cleaning solution onto the dirty coil, and allow it to remain in contact for 5-10 minutes. 6. Rinse the unit thoroughly with water. 7. Return system to service. 8. Rinse out sprayer, spraying wand, and nozzle. 9. When container is empty, rinse, replace cap, and dispose of properly. 10. For applications where added corrosion protection is desired for the coil or to increase ease of soil removal on the next cleaning, consider Nu-Calgon’s Nu-Shield™.
