Historically parking garages were often dark, dirty and unsecure. Fortunately, this is changing and parking garages
today are bright, safe and more upscale. Owners and real estate managers realize that better looking garages also
attract more customers.
Because of the need for safety and personal security, parking areas are often lit 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
No other space in commercial or industrial real estate has such intermittent tenant usage. The energy savings
potential is therefore very high, as parking areas are large in size and lighting densities are high.

Aura LED Luminaire Duro Long Life is a sealed
luminaire with a unique gasket-less labyrinth seal. The
luminaire is fitted with two 2600 lumen Aura UltiLED
Long life LED light sources and a Long Life LED Driver.
It offers outstanding energy efficiency with a system
efficacy of 78 lm/W and is DALI/DSI dimmable.
Our efficient LED solutions are backed by a solid
eight-year guarantee.

Aura UltiLED Long Life is a high lumen LED light source that delivers excellent energy
efficiency, high quality of light and a true Long Life. It offers up to 100 lm/W in the
clear version and Ra>80. The hermetically sealed glass tube (IP67) protects the LED
module from chemical contamination and moisture, two of the most common reasons
behind LED system failiure.
LED luminaires from Aura based on UltiLED Long Life give you all the benefits of LED
lighting today, while ensuring that you can easily upgrade your lighting installation as
LED technology develops.

Aura E-2002N DALI/DSI Presence sensor
The Aura E-2002N DALI/DSI Presence sensor detects
movement using a highly sensitive microwave detector. With
this presence sensor you can ensure that the light is on where
it is needed, and dimmed to a lower level in areas where no
presence is detected. The sensor measures the overall light
level in the detection area and calculates the correct output for
the luminaires to achieve a preset lux level. This means that
there is no over-lighting in the intial installation and the sensor
automatically adjusts for the lumen depreciation in the LED light
source over time.

The garage should be divided into lighting
zones for maximum energy savings as well as
maximum security. Parking spaces closest to
entry will always be occupied first.

The lights should only dim up in areas where
a person or vehicle is moving. When no
presence is detected the light should dim
back down to a determined low lux level.

For dynamic and user friendly lighting control
careful consideration should be taken in
planning sensor placement.
