series delivers superior features with a fresh new look, improved camera
technology, UX and smart battery management. The new X Series offers a
range of choice and technologies for consumers wanting everything from
the the fastest intelligent camera (Xperia X) to a premium smartphone
with powerful features and performance (X Performance), to a topperforming mid-range smartphone with stunning design and low-light
selfie camera (Xperia XA).

detail of how we use smartphone cameras use has been researched and

The new Xperia X design takes smartphones beyond the limitations of
screen size -Sony designers have packed the latest technology into a phone
that fits perfectly in the hand, whilst still retaining an impressive 5” screen.
Research into how we use our phones showed that the majority of time we
are on the move or require to hold the phone in just one hand, with this in
mind the new X Series has been skillfully crafted by our designers so it fits
beautifully in your palm. Also each device integrates a fresh look and feel
with a continuous colour surround in choice of four colours including ontrend metallic hues; Lime Gold and Rose Gold in addition to Graphite Black
and White. A premium finish is visible across the entire range with the
Xperia X depicted by its seamless metal back, Xperia Performance by its
stylish hairline finish3 and Xperia XA by its borderless edge-to-edge screen.

Xperia X
Sony’s new ‘can’t live without’ intelligent smartphone, Xperia X features
unique Sony camera technology, Predictive Hybrid Autofocus, which
allows you to track an object then cleverly predicts its movement to give
you clear, blur-free shots. So, even if you can’t predict where the shot is
headed, your smartphone can. The 23MP rear camera not only gives you
clear shots, but also super-fast start-up going from standby to capture in
less than 0.6secondsii at the touch of a button, ensuring you are ready to
take the perfect shot whatever the situation. The front camera can help
capture your fondest memories too with 13MP and Sony’s renowned lowlight sensors (ISO6400), so your selfies are sharp around the clock.
Crafted with a seamless metal back and curved glass edges of its 5”
display, it fits beautifully in the curvature of your hand. The comfortable
fit and usability is exemplified by the integration of the finger-print
sensor iii on the power button which intuitively provides access in an

cutting-edge processors created and is designed to deliver the ultimate in

the next generation 23MP camera in the Xperia X Performance takes
spontaneous capture to another level allowing you to shoot in sharp focus,

developed from Sony’s ‘α’ camera heritage, predicts the motion of an

Xperia XA
With a curved glass display that seamlessly meets the rounded frame,
