Khóa học Solaris 10 Operating System Essentials này cung cấp những kiến thức về các tính
năng cơ bản, quan trọng và khả năng của hệ điều hành Sun Solaris 10. Các chủ đề chính của
khóa học bao gồm các vấn đề về quản lý hệ thống file và thư mục, kiểm soát môi trường làm
việc của các user, lưu trữ các tập tin và sử dụng lệnh từ xa….Ngoài ra, khóa học này còn giải
thích cơ bản về chức năng của những câu lệnh trong hệ điều hành Solaris, bao gồm : hệ thống
tập tin dẫn đường, dùng trình soạn thảo văn bản vi trong Solaris, cơ chế phân quyền, ACL
(access control lists) …Khóa học cũng là bước chuẩn bị cho kỳ thi Sun Certified Solaris

Khóa học này sẽ cung cấp cho học viên những kinh nghiệm thực hành để làm việc với các khái niệm phức tạp
hơn đã được tích hợp và xây dựng dựa trên những kiến thức đã học trong phần 1 của khóa học Quản trị hệ
