Industrial Hose

Hoffmeyer’s industrial hose experts can quickly discern

Air & Water
Hoffmeyer’s synthetic tube hoses feature
spiral polyester yarn reinforcement and
work well in a range of applications. Our
Alpha Flex™ tube is made from EPDM
rubber and good for general use. We also
carry Delta Flex™, which handles up to
500 psi, and Beta Flex,™ which resists oil.
Chemical
We have a wide range of chemical
hoses designed to handle most common
chemicals, corrosives, acids and other
substances securely and reliably.
Mill Hose & Fittings
We offer mill hose in single and double
jacket construction, capable of handling up
to 400 PSI working pressure. These hoses
are commonly used on construction sites
and non-potable water fill applications. We

Hoffmeyer carries many styles of petroleum
and oil hoses. Special NBR compound
construction to withstand the degradation
of rubber by gas and oil. These hoses

Sand Blast & Steam
Our sand blast hose is designed to handle
abrasive media used in stonework and
marine applications. Our steam hose is
built for secure transfer of steam and hot
water. Both the sand blast and steam

Duct Hose

abrasion and kinking prolongs hose life. If you do plan

Hose Guards
Cut-off Saw
Prolong the life of your hose cover and add
protection from abrasion, which can occur
in extreme working applications. We carry
a variety of rust-resistant hose guards,
including round and flat spring, available for
all types and sizes of hoses.
Abrasion Guards
Day to day use exposes hoses to abrasion
that will wear down the cover and shorten
the life of the hose. Use our Cordura
nylon abrasion guard to reduce abrasion
and protect your equipment and your
employees.
Our electric hydraulic hose-cutting saws
utilize a toothed knife system to avoid
kerfs. Hoses are bent into the blade,
spreading the cut edges to avoid burning
and smoking. Includes adjustable “Hose
Helper” retention device and hose counter.
Light Crimper
We carry portable crimpers ideal for 1/4” 1-1/4” two-wire hose. These crimpers can
easily be mounted on service trucks or
used throughout the shop. These machines
are set to manufacturer-recommended
crimp specifications and come with a set of
six different dies.
Standard Crimper
Fire Sleeves
This heat-resistant, silicone-coated
fiberglass sleeve protects hoses, cables
and wires from molten metal splash, high
heat hazards and occasional exposure to
flame. Resistant to hydraulic fluids, fuels,
and lubricating oils. Extremely flexible at
temperatures -65°F. - 500°F.
Bend Restrictors
Vinyl hose guard bend restrictors prevent
hoses from kinking in working situations
where mobility is an issue.

These industrial grade machines are
capable of crimping two, four and six wire
hoses up to 4” in diameter, with up to
340 tons of crimping force. Available with
optional high horsepower electric pumps,
and includes up to 9 different die sets.
Reusable Fitting Machine
This machine offers a convenient way to
assemble threaded reusable hose fittings.
They are easy to operate, and offer a
convenient foot control switch. Variablespeed universal motor increases torque as
the speed decreases.

Food Belts
Hoffmeyer’s food belts, such as our
Food Flex™ and Little Giant belts, are
engineered for baking, poultry, meat
processing and general food handling
applications. Available in nitrile, SBR and
polyurethane, Hoffmeyer food belts meet
FDA, USDA and EPA regulations.
Heavy-Duty
Our heavy-duty belts, like our Hercules
and Maximus series, are built extra tough
to resist tearing, abrasion and wear. These
belts work in a variety of high-impact
environments, such as rock quarries,
cement plants and foundries.
An economical conveying solution, our
PVC belts withstand stretching, ozone and
a wide range of temperatures. Select belts
in this series feature a non-skid surface
that allows conveying on an incline or
decline.
Heat-Resistant
These belts are built to handle hot material
and high temperatures that would damage
normal belts. Temperature requirements
dictate belting material: PVC for low heat
applications, butyl and EPDM for the
highest temperature jobs.
Hoffmeyer GP-custom cleated belts
are designed to prevent rollback when
transporting products up inclines of 18
degrees or greater. Cleated belts come in
a variety of sizes and profiles, including “T”
profiles, “V” guides, curved and chevron
cleating.
Urethane
Our incline belts, such as rough top or
wedge grip belts, are designed to move
products uphill without rollback. These
belts are flexible and durable as well as
resistant to abrasion, oil and heat. Belts
come in a variety of compounds, including
nitrile, SBR and gum.

We offer sheet rubber, gaskets and gasket material made out
of a wide range of compounds, from common varieties like
neoprene and Buna N, to more exotic materials like Hypalon®,
Viton® and more. We also can produce rubber stripping to any

Diaphragm/Cloth Insert
Sheet Rubber
We carry a wide selection of natural and
synthetic sheet rubbers, such as our

Hoffmeyer’s compressed sheeting is ideal
gasket material. Made from synthetic heatresistant fibers bonded with a variety of
rubber compounds, compressed sheeting
is suited to use with a wide assortment of
materials, including air, water, steam, brine,
acids, alkalis, oils, animal fats or refrigerants.

This sheet combines SBR rubber with
a nylon cloth insert for temperature
resistance, thickness and increased
strength. Hoffmeyer’s rubber sheeting
delivers maximum conformity and an
ability to withstand deformation in use as a
mechanical or engine diaphragm.
Graphite w/SS Foil
Graphite foil gaskets exhibit excellent
corrosion resistance and good compression
resilience. They perform extremely well in a
wide range of temperatures. Our Hoffmeyer
graphite foil exhaust gasket can withstand
temperatures up to 1500º F.
Die Cut Gaskets
Hoffmeyer fabricates gaskets using specialty
materials to produce ring and flange gaskets
in various shapes and sizes, depending on
the application. With our multi-disc slitter,
we can produce economic, custom-width
stripping. We have the right tools and
experience to meet any gasket specs.
Spiral Wound Gaskets
One of our most commonly requested
gaskets, spiral wound gaskets are used in
applications that involve high temperatures
and pressures, such as in steam and heat
exchangers. These gaskets are also built to
resist caustic and corrosive substances.

Conveyor Components

Skirtboard
Skirtboard acts as a barrier, keeping
material on a conveyer. Hoffmeyer offers
skirtboard in black and orange rubber,
from 40 to 80 durometer. Heavy-duty
urethane skirting available. Engineered
dust-control mounting systems also

Chute Lining
Our chute liners consist of abrasionresistant materials designed to protect
chutes and hoppers from impact and wear.

Crown Bar
Industrial-strength crown bar rubber

Belt Wipers/Cleaners
Belt wipers are used to clear away moist
debris that can create a sticky buildup
on bulk material conveyors. Bolted to the
conveyor and easy to install, belt wipers,
are cut resistance and durable. We carry
Flexco™ belt wipers and more.
Brushes
Cleaning brushes can be found in most
plants running conveyer systems, belt
cleaning and street sweeping, and are used
in applications which include Trommel™
machines. Hoffmeyer carries all styles and

Impact Bars
Hoffmeyer impact bars are built using a
cast aluminium T-slotted base, covered
in a solid block of hard rubber with a
polyethylene top. They offer impact
protection for belts at material feed and
transfer points.
Impact Beds
The loading zone is a critical area of a
conveyor system that demands special
attention. Impact beds reduce downtime
and maintenance costs that come with a
traditional impact idler loading zone.

Pillow Block
Pillow block bearings are designed to
be utilized when the connected shaft is
parallel to the mount surface. Hoffmeyer
carries a full line of pillow block bearings,
including Dura-Klean bearings, nickleplated and spherical-roller styles.
Flanged
Our full-seated bearings are built to
support large radial loads. Available in
a variety of noise requirements, sizes
and row assemblies, Hoffmeyer provides
roller bearings for any conveyor system or
application.
Cam Followers & Rod Ends
Flange bearings work when the shaft is
perpendicular to the mount surface. These
commonly include locking collars and have
2 - 4 mounting bolts within the flange. Our
“U” Style bearing have wide inner rings
for greater shaft support. “N”, “H” and “E3”
types also available.
Take Up
Also known as a heim joint, rod ends are
used anywhere a precision articulating
joint is required. Our cam followers are
suitable for high radial loads, and designed
to withstand heavy rolling and minor
incident thrust loads.
