Key Product Features
• Buy with Confidence – The manufacturing and
assembly of the parts featured in this EMT Product bulletin fully
conform to the Buy American Trade Agreements Act and
the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and
section 1605 of that Act, Public Law 111-5. A requirement for
all federally funded projects and many state and municipal jobs
• AMFICO EMT fittings are all steel construction and are
manufactured from US made bar stock, then brightly zinc plated
for corrosion resistance
• Fittings are fully machined providing a uniformed product
without the characteristics downside of inferior die cast thin
wall fittings
• All connectors are furnished with our uniquely designed
UL component locknut that will tighten without deforming the
fitting and will not vibrate loose. The design of the fitting and
locknut allow for fast extended reach to lock and bond the fitting
on thin wall box or enclosure. A full size range of replacement
locknuts are available
• Tested and approved to MIL-STD-810 Sinusoid Vibration
requirements American Fittings is the only manufacturer to have
this approval
• Solid steel construction distinctively designed and
manufactured provides for a fast and secure installation not
found in typical thin wall fittings
• All connectors are available with or without an insulated
throat* (bushing). This nylon insulator (bushing) is a UL component
that protects conductors, decreases wire-pulling effort, and averts
fitting thread damage during installation
• AMFICO Raintight connectors are UL Listed for Rain Tight and
are ideal for use in wet locations when connecting EMT conduit
and enclosures
• Our EMT set screw fittings will provide a concrete tight
connection when the set screw is taped
• A full range of conduit hangers with bolts and EMT steel
straps are available to secure and support EMT conduit to a
mounting surface
• E101868 In addition to UL and CSA Listings, AMFICO fittings
meet MIL-STD 810 DOD testing for vibration, a requirement in
many federal and state facilities mounting surface
