Aim of Project
Located on the northern outskirts of the European
side of Istanbul, 42 Maslak is one of the largest
and most important developments currently under
construction in the city. At 150 metres high this mixeduse development will bring a high quality working
and living environment to the heart of this working
district. This flagship high-rise concept was developed
by Chapman Taylor, and completion is set for 2015.

Design Concept
The development is situated in the centre
of the new office and residential district of
Maslak, on a former textile industrial site
of 39.000 m². The 235.000 m² complex
incorporates Residential, Office, Hotel
and Retail functions, including a 300 bed
5 star hotel, two 35 storey towers with
430 residential units and 14 penthouses.
Comprehensive leisure, commercial and
cultural facilities are also provided, with
57.000 m² of A++ office units, swimming,
fitness and other social facilities.
The project follows a core theme of ‘artful
living’ whereby art should be considered to
be influential in all aspects of life. This has
shaped the total concept, from the design
of spaces to facilities management, creating
an innovative and dynamic place for people
to live, work, and enjoy leisure activities.
This milestone project for Istanbul is
also the country’s first commercial office
project that has received LEED Platinum
certification for the Core & Shell Category.
